By registering for or accessing the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and accept these Terms in full.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Docgyan Legal AI provides AI-assisted tools for legal professionals and individuals, including but not limited to:

• Translation and export of legal and land-record documents (including Punjabi/Hindi to English) with support for PDFs, images, Word, and text where the product allows.
• Document comparison, bias detection, stress or intimidation analysis, timeline extraction, and summarisation.
• CrossExamine (DocFight) — interactive, document-grounded questioning and session reports.
• DocReply — guided drafting of replies to notices and similar correspondence.
• Watermark detection and related document tools where available.
• Credit-based access — certain actions consume credits according to our published pricing.
• User accounts, profiles, optional saved sessions (where the product stores progress), and a feedback channel.

The Service is intended as an assistive tool and does not constitute legal advice. Features and availability may change over time.

All outputs — including translations, summaries, comparisons, bias reports, stress analyses, CrossExamine or DocReply text, and any other AI-generated content — are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided strictly for informational and assistive purposes only. They do NOT constitute legal advice, legal opinion, or a substitute for the guidance of a qualified legal professional.

You must not treat any AI-generated output as a final, authoritative, or legally binding result. Before acting on any output produced by this Service — particularly in matters involving property rights, court proceedings, contracts, or any legal dispute — you must independently verify the information and consult a qualified lawyer, legal advisor, or other relevant professional.

AI models can make errors, misinterpret context, produce inaccurate translations, or miss legally significant nuances. Outputs may occasionally be incomplete. We make no warranty of any kind regarding the accuracy, completeness, correctness, or legal validity of any AI-generated content.

You assume full and sole responsibility for any decision, action, or reliance based on the Service's outputs. Docgyan Legal AI, its owners, developers, and operators shall not be held liable for any harm, loss, legal consequence, financial damage, or any other adverse outcome resulting from use of or reliance on any output produced by this Service.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload documents you do not have the legal right to process or share.
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or bypass any part of the platform's AI systems or security.
• Upload malicious files, scripts, or content intended to disrupt the Service.
• Impersonate another person or entity, or submit feedback that is fraudulent, harassing, or unlawful.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Systematically scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform without written consent.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data, admin areas, or accounts.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension without notice.

• All software, design, branding, and underlying technology of the Service is owned by Docgyan Legal AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• You retain ownership of any documents you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process those documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
• AI-generated outputs (translations, summaries, reports, drafts) are provided to you for your personal or professional use. You may not resell them as standalone products without modification.
• Feedback and messages you submit through our feedback channels are licensed to us on a non-exclusive basis to operate support, improve the Service, and respond to you.

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

When you log in, we place a strictly necessary session cookie on your device as described in the Privacy Policy so we can keep you authenticated. If you continue to use the Service while logged in, you consent to that cookie for that purpose. You may withdraw the practical effect of the cookie by logging out and clearing cookies for our site.

Guest features may use local storage in your browser for a device identifier, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

You agree that we may send you transactional messages (for example OTP or account-related email) to the address you provide.

Parts of the Service operate on a credit basis. Credit packs, per-action costs, and free or promotional allocations are described on our pricing page and may change; we will use reasonable efforts to keep descriptions accurate.

• Credits are digital units used to unlock or run certain operations. They are not legal tender and have no cash redemption value except where required by applicable law.
• When you confirm a paid purchase, you authorise us (or our payment provider) to charge the applicable price. Taxes may apply as stated at checkout.
• Consumed credits — credits deducted for a completed operation are generally non-refundable, because the Service has delivered the underlying processing.
• Unused credit balances may remain on your account according to our current policy (for example non-expiring balances where stated). If we suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, unused credits may be forfeited without compensation.
• We may refuse to start an operation if your balance is insufficient. Guest and promotional credits are offered at our discretion and may be limited or withdrawn.

🚫 This is a software application. Its outputs are generated by AI and must not be used as a final result or definitive authority on any legal, financial, or personal matter without verification by a relevant qualified professional.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from inaccuracies.
• We expressly disclaim all liability for any harm, loss, financial damage, legal consequence, or adverse outcome — direct or indirect — arising from your use of or reliance on any AI-generated output produced by this Service.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind.
• No output from this Service should be acted upon without independent verification and consultation with a qualified lawyer, legal expert, or other relevant professional.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

• You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms, without prior notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property sections) will remain in effect.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
